Recent leaks from The Batman Part II could have knock-on effects for future LEGO Batman sets, particularly in terms of character selection and minifigure design.
While these leaks may ultimately prove inaccurate, current reporting suggests they could be genuine. If you are avoiding all information from the film to prevent spoilers, consider this your warning.

Entertainment journalist Jeff Sneider has reported that, contrary to earlier expectations, Sebastian Stan will not be playing Harvey Dent/Two-Face in Matt Reeves’ sequel.
Instead, Oscar, Emmy, and Tony-nominated actor Brian Tyree Henry is allegedly set to take on the role. If true, this change could significantly influence potential minifigure designs in future LEGO Batman sets.
Firstly, it could lead to a new version of Two-Face. Of the five previous LEGO Two-Face minifigures, only Billy Dee Williams’ version from The LEGO Batman Movie appeared with a Black actor’s likeness, featured in 70915 Two-Face Double Demolition. There is also a separate orange-suited variant from 70912 Arkham Asylum.
Brian Tyree Henry’s casting could open the door for a new interpretation of the character, which may be especially interesting from a design perspective. Henry already has an existing LEGO minifigure likeness from his role as Phastos in Eternals, appearing in 76156 Eternals: Rise of the Domo. The LEGO Group could potentially adapt and recolour elements of that existing face print, combined with a design tailored to The Batman Part II.

Also intriguing is the possibility that Sebastian Stan may instead be portraying Victor Zsasz, a psychopathic serial killer from DC Comics.
Mr. Zsasz has appeared as a LEGO minifigure before, but was never released in a standard retail set. He featured as a playable character and antagonist in the 2008 LEGO Batman video game, although only in the Nintendo DS version. He also appeared in handheld versions of the sequel.
The character’s darker comic-book background may explain why he has not previously appeared widely in physical LEGO sets aimed at younger audiences, which could influence whether the LEGO Group chooses to include him at all.

However, with a major actor like Sebastian Stan reportedly attached to the role, and the LEGO Group’s continued interest in LEGO Batman sets, it would feel like a missed opportunity to leave him out entirely.
We will not know for certain who Sebastian Stan or Brian Tyree Henry are playing until Warner Bros. officially confirms the casting. With the film not expected to release until October 1, 2027, there is still plenty of time for plans to change.
However, if these rumours do prove accurate, they could signal an interesting new direction for future LEGO Batman sets.
