Sheffield LEGO Store reopens with exclusive pieces and promotional sets

The official LEGO Store in Sheffield has reopened in a larger location at Meadowhall shopping centre following months of refurbishment work.

The LEGO Group announced in January 2026 that its stores in Sheffield and Leeds would relocate to larger premises. The Leeds store reopened six weeks ago, and Sheffield has now followed suit.

Earlier today, the Sheffield store welcomed customers to its new home on Meadowhall's Lower Level High Street, expanding into a 389-square-metre space.

The larger store includes the features LEGO fans have come to expect from a modern LEGO Store, including a Pick a Brick wall, a Build a Minifigure station and, perhaps most excitingly, a Minifigure Factory.

It also features a photo booth where visitors can take pictures in front of a printed LEGO version of Sheffield Town Hall.

To celebrate the reopening, visitors can receive an exclusive ‘I Love LEGO Store Sheffield’ printed tile with every minifigure created, while shoppers who spend £135 or more can also pick up a LEGO Store ribbon-cutting set.

Both gifts are available on the reopening day only, while stocks last.

“The store has proved hugely popular with visitors for the last 15 years,” said Meadowhall Centre Director Darren Pearce. “The move will mean shoppers can browse even more of the LEGO range and add to their collections.”
